Mallorca Freemasons make a difference at Christmas
Freemasons do not usually publicise what they do but last weekend they were on show at a supermarket in Palmanova with their annual trolly dash organised by Lodge Pythagoras.
In recent weeks the lodge has been collecting funds and, supported by their sister lodge, Ramon Llull, raised well over a thousand euros.
Members of both lodges assembled outside the supermarket and split into groups to fill trolleys with essential item requested by the Mallorca food bank. It was not only food that was purchased this year as there is a particular need for baby items.
Following a fifteen-minute dash around the supermarket, an impressive queue was formed at the checkout and members of the Mallorca food bank were there showing their gratitude to the Masons.
Lodges Pythagoras and Ramon Llull wish you all a very happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
